This philosophy was the driving force behind the HIVE Professional League 2 (HPL), held on February 10–13 and 17–18, 2026. Far more than just an internal tournament, this event served as a vital initiative to reinforce the bonds between the people behind the drawing boards and monitors.
A Brief Respite to Build a Stronger Foundation
The Webtoon industry demands high precision and rigorous time management. HPL 2 was designed as a "breathing room" for HIVE’s creative talents to step away from their production deadlines momentarily. Involving eight cross-divisional teams, the six-day event allowed staff members to connect on a personal level beyond their professional roles.
The philosophy is simple: a team that can laugh and strive together in a friendly competition will possess higher resilience when facing challenges in the studio. By strengthening these emotional ties, we are building a collaborative bridge that is more stable, reliable, and unshakable.
